The Outlook is a top floor, 2 bedroom. The Master bedroom features a king size bed or two twins upon request. The second bedroom has a queen, or may be fitted as an executive office. The Outlook features contemporary interior design, furnishing and artwork and a top-of-the-line media centre with Sony LCD and digital surround sound. From the living, dining, patio and both bedrooms guests enjoy a panoramic view of Burrard Inlet from Washington's Mt. Baker across the city skyline to the Spanish Banks and the open Sea.
The Eagles Perch is a spacious two bedroom suite with 180 degree view of Vancouver Harbour from Mt. Baker to the East and the Spanish Banks to the West and South to Stanley Park, Downtown Vancouver, the Convention Centre and inner harbour where the cruise ships dock and the seaplanes’ terminal are situated. This city view suite has the same qualities, furnishings, decor and ambiance as The Grouse Nest, The Lions and The Lord Stanley. Jim is an amazing host and we had a wonderful first two months in Vancouver in his apartment. It’s a quiet and comfortable place with good beds and a nice kitchen overlooking the mountains and next door of the Capilano River. From just doorsteps you can walk the Capilano Pacific Trail up to Cleveland Dam and the apartment is also just minutes away from the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. If you walk south you can go for shopping dinner and drinks at Park Royal and downtown Vancouver is 20 min by bus. We recommend the apartment in both winter as summer season for up to 4 people. Jim is very kind and helpful and we like to thank him for the great time :)!! Sander and Kim

Thanks Jim! The stay was amazing. We had originally planned to stay downtown, as we usually do, but were really glad we didn't by the end of it. The apartment was very classy. I've never written about "the art work" in a review, because I've never noticed I guess, but it is a detail that although wouldn't affect my decision when looking for a place, certainly adds a level of homeliness once you're there. Nice touch. We spent the day skiing "up the street" at Grouse Mt, and then came home to have a hot tub, a relaxing swim and cooked dinner. The next morning we hiked in the snow around the river , walked to the Earls restaurant for lunch. We popped downtown in the afternoon, which is very close - just over the bridge and a drive through Stanley park. We shopped Downton for a bit, and then we're recommended to head back across the bridge to the mall called ParkRoyal, which had nicer boutique stores. They were right. We ate at Cactus Club, and then grabbed breakfast things from Wholefoods. The next day we had a morning soak and then hit the road. Thanks Jim, see you next time!
